Artwork Detail

Ink Wash Bloom

A bloom rendered from swift ink gestures into luminous oil glazes through patient layering.

The piece began as a five-minute ink exercise, chasing the way petals overlap before sunrise. Quick lines established rhythm without getting precious.

Multiple transparent oil layers followed, reinforcing form while keeping the fresh energy of the sketch intact.
