Portfolio Chapter
Awaken Bloom
Floral studies that evolve from ink washes to lush oil renderings.
A floral chapter that moves from quick ink gestures to luminous oil paintings through patient layering and color testing.
Awakening Blooms began as a series of pre-dawn ink washes. Loose lines chased how morning light slips across petals before the studio lamps flip on, letting gesture set the tempo.
Those sketches grew into layered oil paintings. Glazes were built slowly so the glow of the ground could shine through, turning notebook fragments into finished panels.
Color studies pinned across the studio wall while oils cured nearby.
